Our journey began long before we opened our doors in Kensington. It began in the heart of a Turkish family kitchen, where recipes were more than just instructions on paper – they were traditions passed down through generations. Ayhan, our founder, grew up surrounded by the comforting aromas of slow-cooked meats, freshly baked flatbreads, and sweet pastries carefully prepared by his mother and grandmother.
From our kebab flatbreads to our pide bases, everything is baked fresh in-store, ensuring every bite is soft, warm, and full of flavour.
Just like in Turkey, our gözleme is hand-rolled, filled with fresh ingredients, and cooked to golden perfection.
Many of our dishes are crafted from recipes passed down through Ayhan’s family – from marinated kebabs to comforting stews.
Our special twist: blending Turkish culinary traditions with an Aussie favourite. These hearty pies (chicken and lamb) are homemade, larger than standard, and available frozen for families on the go.
